Affiliate disclosure
How MailSetupCheck may earn money from referral and affiliate links, how those links are labeled, the rules that keep commissions out of the checker's findings and the calculator's rankings, and the current list of relationships.
The short version
Some links on MailSetupCheck may become referral or affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one, the vendor pays MailSetupCheck a commission, at no extra cost to you. Every such link is labeled "(paid link)" right beside it, and any page with one says so at the top, before the first link.
Current relationships
This list is generated from the same partner registry the site uses to build its links, so it always matches what the pages do.
| Vendor | Relationship | Program page |
|---|---|---|
| Instantly | None: links are plain, unpaid links | Instantly program |
| Google Workspace | None: links are plain, unpaid links | Google Workspace program |
| EasyDMARC | None: links are plain, unpaid links | EasyDMARC program |
| ZeroBounce | None: links are plain, unpaid links | ZeroBounce program |
| Smartlead | None: links are plain, unpaid links | Smartlead program |
| Hunter | None: links are plain, unpaid links | Hunter program |
Every other vendor named on this site pays MailSetupCheck nothing.
Rules
- Labels sit beside the link. Every paid link carries a visible "(paid link)" label next to it and is marked
rel="sponsored"for search engines. A footer note is not enough, and the site doesn't rely on one. - Commissions never touch the checker. Findings, tiers and suggested records come from published standards and mailbox-provider rules. No vendor is recommended inside a check result.
- Commissions don't decide order. The cost calculator sorts stacks by price. Vendors that pay nothing are priced and listed exactly like those that pay.
- No paid placement. Vendors cannot pay to be included, ranked, described or left out.
- No list sellers. The site does not link to sellers of email lists or address-scraping tools, paid or not.
- No fake reviews or results. MailSetupCheck publishes no testimonials and never uses AI-generated reviews.
- Free tools stay free. The checker and the calculator need no account or purchase.
These rules follow the US Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and the FTC rule on consumer reviews and testimonials (16 CFR Part 465).
